Trying to market yourself on the internet can be a long and tedious process. So I put together a list of tools that make my life easier. All of these Internet Marketing Tools are FREE to use although some of them have paid versions as well.

In this list are tools for email marketing, keyword research, article submission, design and competitor research.

1.MailChimp

Just as good as constant contact but free to use for up to 2,000 subscribers yup 2,000 subscribers. They have templates, sign up forms and statistics. You can send up to 12,000 emails every month for free. Like with anything free that has a pro or paid version throwing a couple extra bucks into your mail chimp account each month to ramp up your results is a good idea. Go sign up make some campaigns and try it for your self. Just make sure you keep the opt-in from all your subscribers because just like every good email marketing system they comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. We’ve also secured a $30 credit(with purchase) for any one who uses the link above.

2. Google Adwords Keyword Tool

This tool is priceless. It’s free to use with or with out a Google Adwords account. You just enter in your keyword(s) and hit enter. It will then give give you the global and local monthly searches for your keyword and related keywords. It also shows you the level of competition for each keyword along with local search trends and cost per click.

3. Article Submission Helper

I used to use my Article Submission Helper everyday. Now while I may have out grown it most of you have not. It allows you to store your articles, use spin syntax, register and submit to over 100 article ezine sites. It also let’s you program in new directories. Now be careful not to submit duplicate content because ezine sites are not considered syndication(see my article on the Panda Update).

4. FileZilla

FileZilla is a free FTP Client licensed under the GNU General Purpose License. It’s used to make changes to your website using the html, php, mysql and css. You can update your site whether it’s host on your server or somewhere else like hostgator.

5. Firebug

Firebug is made by the Mozilla Project. The same guys that brought you Filezilla. It’s an extension you can use in the Firefox browser(also by Mozilla) to view the source code of any website. You can even change how any website looks by editing the code in your Firefox browser. It’s pretty cool so I made you guys a video of me changing the Google and Fox News Logos.
